Open Data Sphere (“ODS”, “ODS Pro”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an AI and operational systems consultancy, operated by Open Data Sphere Limited (company number 15073547, registered in England and Wales). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for information collected through this website. Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us — primarily through our enquiry and careers forms. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, company name and the content of your message. We also collect limited, privacy-friendly analytics data (such as anonymised page views) to understand how the site is used.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, provide the services you request, improve our website, and — only where you have agreed — send you our newsletter. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Legal bases
We process personal data under the UK GDPR on the bases of your consent (for example, newsletter sign-up), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business.
Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work, for example to remember your cookie choice and your language.
Cookieless analytics (Burst Statistics). To understand how the site is used, we run Burst Statistics on our own hosting in cookieless mode. It does not set cookies or fingerprint your device; visits are counted using an anonymous identifier that changes daily. We see aggregate figures such as page views, traffic sources and whether buttons like “Book a call” or the quick check were used.
Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent). If you click “Accept” on the cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (such as _ga) and is provided by Google. Google may process this data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. If you click “Reject”, or do nothing, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link or your browser settings.
The quick check. Answers to the “Where would AI help you first?” questionnaire are processed in your browser only and are not sent to us unless you choose to contact us.
Data sharing & retention
We may share data with trusted service providers who help us run our website and communications (such as our hosting and email providers), always under appropriate safeguards. We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@odspro.tech. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
